15-Chapter Crossover
Initial D Horizon Stories is FH6's centerpiece crossover content — a 15-chapter, ~8 hour storyline that recreates Initial D's most iconic manga moments inside the game. Playground Games partnered with Lantis (Initial D's publisher) starting in 2024 to make this happen.
Each chapter focuses on an Initial D set piece — Takumi's first downhill run, his duel with Ryosuke Takahashi, the Iwase team battle, the Project D tour — letting you replay them as Takumi or his rivals.
4 Initial D Livery Cars
FH6 unlocks 4 Initial D crossover liveries, each tied to a manga character:
- 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) — Takumi's car, panda livery. AE86 details
- 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7 FD3S — Ryosuke Takahashi's car, yellow RX-7 livery.
- 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi — Bunta Fujiwara's later car, blue 22B livery.
- 1989 Nissan Silvia K's S13 — Takeshi Nakazato's car, white Silvia livery.

Super Eurobeat Tie-In
The entire Initial D storyline plays out alongside the dedicated Super Eurobeat radio band, hosted by Dave Rodgers. Tracks like "Deja Vu", "Running In The 90's", and "Gas Gas Gas" auto-trigger during touge sequences. See OST page for the full music breakdown.
How to Unlock
- All players: Chapters 1-3 auto-unlock after 5 hours of main campaign.
- Premium players: 4-day early access (May 15) ships with all 15 chapters unlocked.
- Initial D livery cars: 1 unlocks per 3 chapters cleared.
- Bonuses: titles, badges, and a dedicated themed garage plot.
