1. Agreement

By accessing or using the Forza Horizon Car Wiki ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of the Site ("we", "us").

The Site is a non-commercial player-community fan resource that aggregates publicly available information about the Forza Horizon racing video-game series and the real-world vehicles featured therein. The Site is reference-only and is not affiliated with Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios, Playground Games, or any vehicle manufacturer.

5. Account / Registration

The Site does not currently require user accounts. All features (including My Garage bookmarking) operate via browser-side local storage. If we add account features in the future, additional terms will apply.

6.1 Our Original Content

Original written content created by the Site (article text, opinion pieces, summaries, original research) is © Forza Horizon Car Wiki contributors and is licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike). You may quote with attribution and a link back to the original page.

6.2 AI-Generated Visuals

Hero imagery, scene illustrations, and decorative graphics on this Site are generated using AI tools (gpt-image-2-all for images, grok-video-3-10s for video). They are clearly labeled as AI-rendered and do not represent actual gameplay footage. They are not authorized derivatives of any copyrighted work.

6.3 Third-Party Trademarks (Nominative Fair Use)

  • "Forza" and "Forza Horizon" are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. We use these marks descriptively (nominative fair use, 15 U.S.C. § 1125) to refer to the games this wiki documents. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
  • Vehicle brand names (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. AI-Generated Content Notice

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SITE, ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed USD $100 or the equivalent in your local currency.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the Site ends immediately. Sections 6, 9-11, 14, 15, and 17 survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Site is hosted (currently United States, with Cloudflare as the operating infrastructure provider), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law grants you mandatory rights to your home jurisdiction.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, internet disruptions, hardware failures, or actions of governments.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement
